著名油画家，中国美术家协会会员，曾获首届中国油画展优等奖、第七届全国美展铜奖、中国美术家协会“新人新作”奖、德国纽伦堡美术学院“达纳”一等奖。作品曾多次参加国内外重要展览，并发表在国内外重要报刊画册及书中，多次在国外举办个人展览，发表论文有《视觉艺术的一般见解》等。
现定居柏林、职业画家、雕塑家。
