早春明媚的苏城，即将迎来了一场来自西班牙的艺术盛宴！2017年3月25日，由西班牙粉画协会、苏州市美术家协会主办的西班牙粉画作品邀请展将在金鸡湖畔明·美术馆开幕。本次展览共邀请了13位来自西班牙的艺术家，展出富有西班牙人文风情的粉画作品39幅。
　　据了解，此次参展作品特色鲜明、风格各异，既有抒发自然之美的风景画，也有细腻写实的人体、肖像和静物作品，艺术家将独具西班牙绘画特色的光线、色彩和张力融入到自己的创作之中。本次活动也邀请了5位西班牙参展艺术家来到苏州，他们将与苏州的艺术家们近距交流，大家在中西文化的互动中相互学习、收获灵感。
　　西班牙这一国度，富于深厚的艺术底蕴和开放的艺术理念，让其粉画散发独特魅力。对于此次展览，西班牙粉画协会主席JosédelRiego（胡赛·德尔·瑞格）表示：在中国，围绕西班牙粉画家展开的群体画展这还是首次。中西两国虽然相隔甚远，文化迥异，然而通过粉画艺术这个纽带，两国艺术家走到了一起。希望未来中西两国粉画家友谊长存、合作永恒！
　　此次展览于2017年3月25日下午开幕，由华裔西班牙籍着名艺术家梁君午先生主讲的2017第三期《明·鉴》艺术沙龙也将于当日举办，展览将展出至4月23日，欢迎大家前往参观！

　　前言
　　中国和西班牙两国相隔甚远，文化迥异。今天，我们通过粉画艺术这个纽带，两国艺术家再次走到了一起。
　　尽管中西两国存在诸多差异，但就粉画这一绘画艺术而言，却有一定的相似之处。中西两国历史悠久，然而回顾过去几百年的绘画发展史，却都少了粉画艺术这一页。在西班牙这样一个艺术大师层出不穷的国度里，早期就家喻户晓的粉画艺术却未能成为其鸿篇绘画传统中的一节。同样，粉画进入中国不到一百年的时间里也发展缓慢。相比而言，在中国水墨画更为人们熟知和青睐。
　　可喜的是，中西两国正踊跃出越来越多了解粉画艺术、重视粉画媒介、欣赏粉画特点的人。
　　这也正是两国艺术家同世界各地的同仁一道，纷纷组织粉画学术团体的原因。我们希望让公众对粉画绘画技艺有更深入的了解，从而达到普及粉画艺术和提升粉画创作水平的目标。
　　自二十世纪初起，在西班牙有少数画家开始专注于粉画创作，呈现出"星星之火"之势。十年前，西班牙粉画家们自发组织，成立了我们今天的粉画协会。随后，开展了国内和国际性的粉画专题展和一系列交流活动，为欧洲乃至世界粉画的发展做出了贡献。如今，西班牙粉画作品涌现在世界各地，并屡获嘉奖、好评如潮。
　　从2014年起，西班牙粉画家在国际交流中，朝着与中国粉画合作的方向迈开了一大步。其中三位西班牙粉画家应邀参与了首届中国（苏州）国际粉画双年展，能够该项展览活动，令我们倍感荣幸。
　　2016年，第三届西班牙国际粉画双年展在我国举办。对我们而言，能够在这次展览中展出十位杰出中国画家的粉画作品，幸甚至哉。随着本次西班牙粉画作品邀请展的举办，相信中西两国艺术家的友谊将再次得以升华！
　　今年三月在中国苏州将首次举办西班牙粉画作品邀请展，本次展览的参展画家可以说是世界范围内新秀艺术家的一部分，其中包括十位西班牙画家和三位长期居住在西班牙的他国画家。他们均将西班牙绘画特色中的光线、色彩和张力融入到自己的绘画创作中。
　　中西两国粉画团体迅速建立起的合作，呈现出一片美丽而欣欣向荣的景象。在此，我们对承办本次粉画展览活动的明·美术馆表示衷心的感谢！

　　PREFACE
　　The pastel in Spain and China ... two countries and two cultures so distant and different, yet united in one passion!
　　Pastel is a pictorial technique whose historical development in both countries, despite their differences,has many similarities. China and Spain have very long cultural traditions. But in both countries, over the pastcenturies, pastel technique has remained foreign to the development of painting. In China it was not known until almost a hundred years ago. In Spain, although pastel was known from its beginnings, it was not part of the great Spanish pictorial tradition, with very important world-known masters, that developed their works in oil. In China watercolor and ink were the most known and popular techniques.
　　But in both countries the pastel is becoming more and more known by the public, more valued andappreciated for its unique characteristics.
　　That is why in the two countries, as in other parts of the world, painters have organized themselves to achieve the same goal: to get the public to know more deeply and to value this wonderful pictorial technique.
　　From the beginning of the 20th century some Spanish painters included pastel in their works, in a minority but growing trend. Finally, it was less than a decade ago when the Spanish pastel painters organized ourselves, creating our association and beginning to organize monographic pastel exhibitions, national and international. In this short time, our association has become one of the benchmarks in the world of the Pastel Societies, in Europe and in the world. Spanish pastel and Spanish pastel painters are present in almost all the exhibitions that are organized around the world, receiving with great frequency awards and recognitions.
　　Since 2014 this international presence of the Spanish pastel painters has taken a giant step in starting the collaboration with the Chinese. In that year three Spanish pastel painters were invited to participate the first International Biennial Pastel Exhibition held in Suzhou. It was an honor to have been part of that group, on such a memorable occasion.
　　For our part, in our last Third International Pastel Biennial in Spain, we had the great honor to present the work of ten extraordinary Chinese painters, making China our Guest of Honor Country. That friendship and collaboration is now consolidated with this beautiful exhibition "Hola Espa?a".
　　For the first time a group exhibition of Spanish pastel painters takes place in China, this group of painters are just a representation of a much larger group that grows from day to day. Together with the Spanish painters we have included three painters from other countries who live and develop their art in our country, incorporating to their pictorial work the light, color and vital intensity that are characteristic of Spanish painting.
　　The collaboration between the Spanish and Chinese pastel societies became a beautiful and active reality in a short time. We are deeply grateful to the organizers of this exhibition for the initiative, and for the technical and economic means put to finally take place.
　　As president of the Spain Pastel Society I wish this exhibition to be a success, and that the friendship and collaboration with the Chinese pastel painters keep and grow in the future.

　　西班牙艺术家，西班牙粉画协会的创立者和现任主席，法国、美国、波兰、布列塔尼、佩里戈尔粉画协会会员，国际风景画画家协会会员。其作品题材多样，他用绘画展现生活的美和他对生活的热爱，作品多次在各国粉画展中参展。
　　Jose? del Riego is an artist from Spain. He's the founder and president of Spanish Pastel Society, and he's also a member of Pastel Society of France, of the USA, Poland, Bretagne and Pe?rigord, as well as a member of the International Landscape Painters Society. With a wide variety of subjects, he describes the beauty of and his enthusiasm for life. His artworks have been exhibited in pastel art exhibitions in various countries.
　　Germán Aracil Boronat  赫尔曼·阿拉希尔·波若纳特
　　西班牙艺术家，毕业于巴伦西亚大学艺术学院。他的绘画作品主要围绕现实主义和传统人物展开，创作中重视自然光和色彩平衡的应用。其作品曾于全球多地博物馆、美术馆等公共场馆，以及许多基金会和私人会所展出。
　　Germa?n Aracil Boronat is an artist from Spain who graduated from the Art Academy, University of Valencia. His artworks are mainly about realism and traditional figures, concentrating on the application of natural light and the balance of colors. His artworks haven been exhibited in museums, galleries and city halls all around the world, as well as some foundations and private clubs in Spain, France, Turkey and Britain.
　　Manuel Pena Suarez 马努埃尔·贝纳·苏亚雷斯
　　西班牙艺术家，毕业于巴伦西亚大学艺术学院。他专注于多色画法和超现实主义画法的研究，擅长在超现实主义的作品中加入巴洛克风格的背景修饰。其作品主题突出，多次在各国粉画展中参展。
　　Manuel Pena Sua?rez is an artist from Spain who graduated from the Art Academy, University of Valencia. He concentrates on the study of multicolor drawing and surrealism in art. He's good at embedding a background of the Baroque style into surrealist artworks. With very highlighted topics, his artworks are frequently exhibited in pastel art exhibition in various countries.
　　Eugenio Mayor 尤杰尼奥·马约尔
　　西班牙艺术家，先后在阿尔科伊艺术学院、巴伦西亚圣卡洛斯艺术学院、马德里康普路斯坦大学学习绘画。自然主义绘画是他作品的典型特征，自1978年举办首展以来，其作品被多家杂志出版并收藏，且多次在各国粉画展中参展。
　　Eugenio Mayor is an artist from Spain. He has studied painting in the Art School of Alcoyano, the San Carlos art Academy of Valencia and the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. His artworks have a typical characteristic of naturalistic painting. Since his first art exhibition in 1978, his artworks have been collected and published by various magazines and exhibited in pastel art exhibition in various countries.

　　西班牙艺术家，他认为绘画是一种多姿多彩而又富有创造力的表现方式，而粉画艺术的丰富色调和个性特点尤为有趣，为其艺术创作带来无限可能。目前他正尝试在超现实主义领域发展，其作品多次在各国粉画展中参展。
　　Andres Colao is an artist from Spain. He thinks that painting is a colorful and creative kind of expression, especially the rich colors and characteristics of pastel art, which are most interesting to him. He thinks that pastel art has brought an infinite possibility to his artworks. Currently, he's trying to explore the art in the area of surrealism. His artworks have been in pastel art exhibitions in various countries.
　　Oscar Jimenez 奥斯卡·希梅内斯
　　西班牙艺术家，他认为在创作中应该对每个主题有所了解，继而准确生动地将主题的情绪、人物、生活状况通过画面传递给观众，并引起其观赏兴趣，因此要事先做好调查和观察工作，时刻充满热情，只有这样才能达到必要的艺术效果，并形成个人风格。
　　Oscar Jimenez is an artist from Spain. He thinks an artist should know more about different topics while painting, so through his artworks he can express the emotion, figures and living condition of the subject to audiences, to enhance their interest. To do so, an artist needs to do sufficient investigation and observation in advance, keep his mind full of passion, so that he can build up his personal style and achieve the artistic effect he wants.
　　Daud Akriev 多德·阿克列夫
　　俄罗斯艺术家，毕业于俄罗斯艺术学院，现长期生活在西班牙安达卢西亚。他对粉画教学充满热情，曾在欧洲与美国举办教学活动，且在众多艺术期刊和书籍中撰写专栏文章，其作品多次在各国粉画展中参展。
　　Daud Akhriev is an artist from Russia.  He graduated from the Russian Academy of Art, and currently resides in Andalusia, Spain.  He's passionate about teaching pastel painting, and he has taught both in Europe and America many times before.  He writes articles and blogs in various art magazines and books, and his artworks have been exhibited in pastel art exhibition in many countries.
　　Maria Dolores Gil 玛莉亚·托洛雷斯·希尔
　　西班牙艺术家，她自学成才，形成了自己的绘画风格并获得多项成果。自1992年起，她每年举办一场个展，同时还积极参与国内外各大展览活动，其作品多次在各国粉画展中参展，受到媒体的广泛关注。
　　Maria Dolores Gil is an artist from Spain. She taught herself, formed her own painting style and has obtained many achievements. Since 1992, she holds one personal exhibition every year, and she actively participates in exhibitions at home and abroad. With her artworks being exhibited in pastel art exhibitions in various countries, she attracts massive attention from various media.
　　Melissa Hefferlin 梅丽莎·海夫林
　　美国艺术家，美国粉画协会、西班牙粉画家协会会员。毕业于俄罗斯艺术学院，先后进修于美国田纳西州立大学、洛杉矶奥蒂斯艺术与设计学院，现长期生活在西班牙。她热爱油画和粉画，曾出版有关于俄罗斯艺术主题书籍，其作品多次在各国粉画展中参展。
　　Melissa Hefferlin is an artist from America.  She's also a member of the Pastel Society of America and the Spanish Pastel Society.  She has studied at the University of Tennessee, Otis Academy of Art and Design (Los Angeles) and the Russian Academy of Art.  Currently she resides in Spain. she has written books about Russian art. Her artworks have been exhibited in pastel art exhibitions in various countries.
　　Pilar Ahijado del Fresno 皮拉尔· 阿依哈多·德尔·弗雷斯诺
　　西班牙艺术家，西班牙粉画协会、美国粉画协会、法国粉画协会会员。她自学成才，十分偏爱粉画这种媒介。她的绘画生涯始于1983年，其绘画风格为现实主义，作品题材多样，多次参加各国粉画展览活动。
　　Pilar Ahijado del Fresno is an artist from Spain. She's a member of the Spanish Pastel Society, the Pastel Society of America and the French Pastel Society. She taught herself arts, and found herself fond of pastel painting. Her career as a painter started in the year of 1983 as a realist, with variety of topics. Her artworks have been exhibited in pastel art exhibition in various countries.
　　Heather Gail Harman 希瑟·盖尔·哈曼
　　英国艺术家，现居住在西班牙。她自幼热爱艺术，是粉画创作"全身像法"的主要代表人物。她是全球五个绘画协会的正式会员，多年来坚持粉画创作，并着力于表现光感，目前正打造名为"在线粉画学院"的网络平台，旨在传播推广粉画艺术。
　　Heather Gail Harman is an artist from Britain. She has been fond of art since she was a child. She is one of the main representative painters who do full-length portraits in pastels. She is a full member of five global painting associations. For many years she has dedicated herself to pastel art, concentrating on the expression and sensation of light. Currently, she's developing an internet platform called "online pastel academy," which aims at spreading pastel art education.
　　Vicente Romero Redondo 维森特.罗梅罗.雷东多
　　西班牙艺术家，他曾专业学习雕塑、哲学和绘画，1982年毕业后全身心投入绘画事业。1987年他迁居地中海布拉瓦海岸，十余年内，其作品在布拉瓦海岸声名鹊起，在全球范围拥有越来越大的影响力，成为当今国际粉画界知名画家之一。
　　Vicente Romero Redondo is an artist from Spain. He has studied professional sculpture, philosophy and painting. After graduating in the year of 1982, he has devoted himself to a professional career of painting. In 1987, he moved to the Costa Brava in the Mediterranean, where during the next 10 years his artworks gained great popularity. With bigger and bigger influence all over the world, he is becoming one of the famous international pastel painters.
　　Aurelio Rodriguez Lopez  奥雷里奥.罗德里格斯·洛佩茨
　　西班牙艺术家，西班牙粉画协会、美国粉画协会会员、法国粉画协会会员。他是当代最具实力的写实派画家之一，参加了很多国际绘画大赛，取得优异成绩并产生广泛影响。其作品多次在各国粉画展中参展，被多家艺术机构及个人收藏。
　　Aurelio Rodriguez López is a Spanish artist and a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and a Member of Spanish & French Pastel Societies. He is one of the world?s pastel benchmarks in Hyper-Realism and Realism and has won the 1st International Spanish Pastel Biennial, the French Pastel en Périgord Biennial, the IAPS' "Maggie Price Award of Excellence" etc. His artworks are exhibited in the US, Europe, China and in museums and private collections worldwide.
