此次展览,先前在韩国琴山画廊，继后又来到北京，可以说是一个巡回展,。展览由冯博一先生策划,试图展示中国当代艺术中的另一个侧面，他们摆脱了简单而狭隘的“为人生而艺术”的窠臼，在探索着“为艺术而艺术”的新方式。展览包括摄影，影像，油画，雕塑和国画等多种艺术形式，争取在更多方面来体现年轻艺术家在探索新的艺术语言和追求“为艺术而艺术”做的努力。
这些作品在一同向观众呈现时，我们发现在作品中包涵一种不确定感，这种感觉来自内心深处对艺术理想的追求，也来自所在时代对自身影响的反映。我们把这种感觉暂且称作一种“魅惑”或稍有一种“迷乱”，但这种“迷乱”在艺术追求上却有它“本真”的一面，在表现不确定的同时准确地反映了这批年轻艺术在当代艺术中追求自身对艺体验地真实。
This exhibition was first held in the Keumsan Gallery of Korea, then it comes to China, so it can be said to be an itinerant exhibition. This exhibition, planned by Mr. Feng Boyi, attempts to show another aspect of contemporary Chinese arts. It is looking for new ways of “Art for Art” escaping from previous simple and parochial set pattern of “Art for Living”. This exhibition encompasses many different art forms like photography, video, canvas, sculpture and traditional Chinese painting. It tries to show in as many aspects as possible the effort of young artists in seeking for new artistic language and “Art for Art”.
In these works of art, we can find a kind of uncertainty which comes both from the pursuit of the ideal of art in the heart and from the reflections of times on themselves. We may call this kind of feeling “seduction” or “confusion”, but this “confusion” has its true sides, reflecting uncertainty as well as the true experience of artistic pursuit of young artists in contemporary arts.
