当代艺术强调艺术与现实之间的直接联系,强调艺术与真实世界之间的扑朔迷离。艺术表达家园时一般有两种呈现,一种是地球上真实的家园,一种是心灵上的归属。但就如同安东尼奥所说的现代游牧主义一样,家园其实是没有起点也没有终点,内心世界没有皈依。
艺术是众多观察世界的方式中的一种,我们每个人都会寻找各种方式言说观察体会到的感情。科学希望将一切未知变为已知,但艺术的表达对象甚至包括未知的神秘体验和世界。
在近期艺术创作的这批话明显带有既现实也非现实的气脉,试图将现实中的图像和问题提炼转化为另一符号融入言说之中,通过不同人物、动物(事件)空间任意并置构成来加强和表达多维象征性的含义,由此呈现人类的生存状态,心理依归的活动与场境,揭示当代人类对于自我内心的关注与个体的不同自我评价和讨论。
可是,谁也把握不住这个时代的整体,我们只是成为无数碎片中的一环。受康德思想的影响,现实或自然仅仅是一种表象或幻象而已,如果被其迷惑,就很容易得出既表面而又浮浅的看法,弄得不好,还会成为各种流行意识形态的被动图解。返过来,只有按自身的理解去破坏这个表象世界,进而制造出一个个“假象”与虚构的事件,也就是说对未来自外部世界的图像进行重新编码与演绎,才能真正解释本质的世界,或者表达出个体对现实世界的真切感受。可以说,艺术家的作品表达乃是对个人生存体验的理解,想象与归纳。
世界还在命名,人类还在使用概念。德国女哲人罗莎·卢森堡曾这样优美的说过:“不论我在哪儿,只要我活着,天空,云彩和生命的美就会跟我同在。”在当代艺术的肌体上,有两个穴位,生命与死亡。艺术是希望的最高形式,以独立的方式融入不同时代,不同媒介,不同语言,希望能创作出崭新的艺术特征,还能运用强烈的形象感受力和对画笔精确的控制力,开拓油画自我语言的新空间。
以图像为描写对象,多维表现现实生存和心里目标而产生的种种可能,这种可能改变了人类的本来面貌,仿佛让人们置身于某一介质之中,无法看清本来面貌,以致产生无尽的幻想和叠现。
现在与过去,两者都存在于未来,陌生是因为我们从来也未曾与它接近,在时间的潜流中,人们颠覆未来,却未必能重构现实与未来。在物质空间里,我们该如何经历,如何跨越,我们的情感,行动,情绪起什么作用。所以在作品中生成的保留了足够的细节来暗喻必要的氛围。画面中有些折绉如同被肉毒素注射过的岁月的鱼尾纹。其实,我们无法控制和预测世界的结果,生命中的裁体,我们脆弱,憔悴,惊悸,生命始终在命运中短暂。在私秘的情怀中娓娓溢出,淡化了反抗,强迫与顺从的冲突,和那些隐藏在作品中的言外之意。忧郁,让人神魂颠倒的气场,终究是所有历史的短暂寄存。
艺术不再只是追求和诉说久远的过去。我们正处在全球化全局思考中,脱离本我,使思绪平静,在进入绘画世界时,感观还能引领进入到时空悬置的状态的秘境。
我会继续在画中让那些形象悬在空中,强化一种自我经验的荒诞无助的境地。

Self Introduction
A Temporary Sojourn

Contemporary art stresses the direct connection between art and reality,as well as the maze beyond art and the real world。There are usually two waysof conveyance when art expresses the idea of home,one of which is the real home on earth,the other being home of the soul.However,just like what Antonioni said about modern nomadicism,home has neither a beginning nor an ending and our inner world no belonging.
Art is one of many approaches to observe the world.Each one of us is seeking different ways to express our feelings.Science wants to turn everything unknown into known things,but the objects of art includes unknown mystical experience and worlds.
These lately paintings are obviously realistic and unrealistic,trying to extract the images and problems of the real world and turn them into another sign so as to convey meaning.Through the juxtaposition of various people,animals(things) to reinforce and express multi-dimesional symbolic meaning ,the paintings reveal conditions of human existence,activities and conditions of psychological belonging,so as to bring to linght the contemporary concern for inner self and individual self-assessment and discussion.
However,no one can grasp the wholeof an era,and we are but one chain among countless fragments,Influenced by Kant.I believe reality or nature is but an appearance or illusion.If one is attracted by it,he would prone to make superficial judgements,or worse still,become a passive interpretation for all sorts of prevailing ideologies.On the contrary,only when we damage this superficial world and create “illusory” or fictious events,re-encoding and interpret images from outside world can we truly explain the essential world,or expressan individual’s true feelings for the real world.We can say that what artistic works express are the comprehension,imagination and conclusion of individual existential experience.
The world is still naming things and humans are still using concepts.The German woman philosopher Rosa Luxemburg has said elegantly:“wherever I am alive,the beauty of the sky,the clouds and life are with me.”There are two acupuncture points in the body of contemporary art,life and death .Art is the highest form of hope,integrating different times,media and languages with independent approaches ,in the hope that it can create brand new artistic features.It can also use powerful feelings for images and accurate control of brushes to cultivate new space for the languege of oil painting.
The possibilities resulting from using images as objects and describing realistic existence and psychological targets multi-dimensionally have changed the original appearance of human kind .It seems that they have placed humans in a certain medium,making them unable to see their original appearance and therefore producing limitless illusions and conveyances.
Both the present and the past exist in the future.They are distant because we have never been near them.In the undercurrent of time,people subvert the future,but may not necessarily recreate the present and the future.In the space of material,how should we experience and overcome,and what function should our emotions,actions and moods play?Therefore what the works produced have maintained enough details to give metaphors their necessary atmosphere .Some tolds in the painting are like the wrinkles of age that have been injected botox.In fact,we cannot control or predict the future of the world ,the embodiments of life ,our fragility,fatigue and fear.Life is but a sojourn in destiny ,spilling out of the private feelings,damping rebellion and the conflict between force and compliance, as well as all the meaning between the lines.Hesitation,,fascinating magnetism,will ultimately be the sojourn for all history.
Art is no longer merely pursuing and talking about the distant past.We are in the thought of globalization.Only when we forget ourselves and quieten our thoughts while entering the world of painting can our sensation be led into the secret condition where time and space are obscured.
I will continue to hang those images of my paintings in the air,reinforcing the feeling of obscurity and helplessness.
