成立于2007年的南京青和当代美术馆自开馆之日，便以“自转——南京青和当代美术馆开馆展”陈述了其“立足江苏、对接国际”的建馆主旨，随后举办的“超越图象•中国新绘画——2007《艺术当代》架上艺术学术提名展”更以其对“图像泛滥”的反拨和“绘画自治”的强调，彰显出明确的学术态度和价值主张。
 

　　南京青和当代美术馆由南京青和投资集团有限公司投资创办，刘国夫先生出任馆长。在一套稳定的学术体制、组织结构和管理流程的支持下，已形成了集展览、学术、艺术教育、馆藏于一体的运营体制和发展格局，其投资创办的《ART视界》艺术杂志将在进一步的整合和交流中，完善并扩展这一格局。
 

　　南京青和当代美术馆坐落在位于南京幕府山下（幕府东路窑上村139号）的“三0工园”内，昔日旧厂房改建的现代化馆体在“并置出来的冲突”（吕澎）中表达着当代艺术的多元特征，园区内40多个画家的工作室更为该馆的外部环境营造了浓郁的当代艺术氛围。美术馆占地4000多平方米，展厅面积3200平米，层高13米，展线长达300多米，内设三座影像厅和可供大型集装箱进出的后场空间，适合举办包括装置、雕塑、影像在内的各类大型当代艺术展览及相关艺术活动。
 

　　作为一家以展览、收藏、研究、教育为主要功能，以倡导当代艺术与全社会相交融为己任的复合型民间非营利艺术机构，南京青和当代美术馆在“立足本土”的基础上，力图以务实进取的运作姿态和国际化的学术视野，参与到当代艺术的整体建设与发展进程之中，为当代艺术家——尤其是年轻艺术家提供一个具体、良性、可持续发展的平台，并寻求更多协力创新、共同提升的可能。
 

　　Nanjing Qinghe Contemporary Art Gallery

　　Nanjing Qinghe Current Art Center, at its opening exhibition “Rotation” in 2007, manifested its purpose and principle of “gaining ground in Jiangsu Province and oriented towards the outside world”. After that, the gallery held another exhibition - “Beyond Image•Chinese New Painting”, making clear of its academic attitude and artistic perspective, with a focus on the idea of “painting autonomy” and the reversal of “plagued images”.

　　The gallery was sponsored by Nanjing Qinghe Investment Group Co. Ltd. The curator is Mr. Liu Guofu. Based on its complete academic mechanism, well-organized structure and management procedure, the gallery has developed a sound administrative pattern which helps to serve multiple purposes like exhibition, academic exchange and art education. Its art journal “ART VISION” will facilitate the development of this pattern.

　　Situated in an industrial park at the foot of Mufu Mountain (No. 139 East Mufu Road, Yaoshang Village), Qinghe Gallery was converted from an old factory workshop, featuring multiple artistic styles of “conflicts rooted from juxtaposition” (Lu Peng). More than 40 painters set their workshops in the park, which creates a fine artistic atmosphere for the gallery. Qinghe covers an area of 4,000 square meters with a floor space of 3,200 square meters for the exhibition hall. The hall is over 300 meters long and 13 meters to the ceiling. Within it, there are three video rooms and a storage room big enough to hold large containers. It is capable of holding large-scale contemporary art exhibitions which include installations, sculptures or video shows, and relevant art activities.

　　As a non-profitable and non-official art institution that gives priority to exhibition, collection, and research of art works and art education, Qinghe Gallery calls for the merging of contemporary art and the society. Based on the idea of “gaining ground on the native land”, it participates in the development of Chinese contemporary art with a practical attitude and international perspective. It hopes to provide the contemporary artists, especially the young generation, with a concrete, healthy and sustainable platform for more opportunities of innovation and progress.
