It happened probably one and a half years ago. When Mr. He was giving a class to the graduate students - figure drawing, I happened to be at school. Without any thought, I bought a pen and paper and rushed into their studio. What a rare opportunity to learn experience!
After the lesson, I invited Mr. to my home, and took out a pile of sketches to him for a look. After reading them, Mr. He said, "Let’s plan a sketch exhibition together." what sudden words! I even can not describe my excitement at that time. It was really an awe that I later learned that the works of Mr. Pang Maokun and Zhong Biao would also be displayed in the exhibition.
The sketches on display mostly were the works I drew with my students in the class, a part of them were small manuscripts in the process of creating. I like drawing from the heart of hearts, and I believe all along that sketch is a clean area which is far away from the show field, revealing a minute of eyeable quiet. In recent years, I also made some experiments and try, and later found out that we should not make the sketch burden too many things, if it can not shook off some things, it is no need to deliberately do it. Sketch will make my time goes slow down, extending my life in the process of enjoying the lines and gray.
